Taslin was born in a small elfin forest village. His childhood years were carefree but the humans came when he was a teenager and since then the world was wrought with war. The humans fought the beings living on the land as well as themselves. It seem to Taslin that they only wanted land and gold. He was naive to the human idea of power. Humans, most of them, wanted friendship with the elves. They wanted elfin bowmen to fight in their armies. Most elves did not go, seeing the increasing threat to their village as more than enough reason to stay. This proved a wise but fatal idea, as Taslin’s village was, attacked by Orcs, led by a human wizard. His army of Orcs decimated the village and the elves inside. The human wizard was the main cause of this with his destructive and deadly fireball spells. Taslin fled with the village burning behind him. He fled to a far off land.
...to the realm of Emarengurth. He was wandering this world for a short while when he met some soldiers of the country Seargoth. They said that their country was looking for scouts and that they could train him to be better in battle. Taslin asked if there were Orcs in this country and he was told that "those walking pigs are to be killed on sight." Taslin needed a home and a way to get food and shelter. Maybe some day he could avenge his village by killing every Orc he saw. Though it was not long before he was told about things much worse than Orcs. Taslin had never heard about the Drow, but soon he would learn to hate them too. After his stay in Surgoth for only a few years, Taslin set out wondering again.
It was some time later when Taslin came into the realm of Darkon. Shortly after he joined the country of Elidor. Where else would an elf in Darkon be? There he met King Alfred who placed Taslin in the Eldorian infantry. Taslin likes his new role as a heavy fighter, as he seeks to gain a noble title in order to become a cavalier. Taslin shares King Alfred’s idea that many of the other men of Darkon are evil and out for only land and monetary gain. Taslin likes King Alfred and Elidor, and seeks to promote good throughout the realm of Darkon. He longs for the peaceful and carefree life that he had known as a child and that his forefathers had known for centuries, before the coming of man. Taslin is loyal to King Alfred and to Elidor.
