Roglin the Roaming Rapscallion was born Talon Roglin, the son of Ellsworth Roglin and brother of Sir Corwyn in the forests of Illian. Trained in the ways of war by his brother; in the ways of swordplay by Sir Rollin; the ways of charm by Tanis deBeau; and the ways of wine by Lord Greywolf of Ramen, Talon faithfully defended the Illian countryside.

After the Nation of Illian was conquered by barbarians, Talon fled to the highlands learning skills and offering assistance wherever he was needed. Little is known or heard of Talon during this time except that he survived a ancient Rite of Passage of his family. This passage was but one step of many steps to prove himself worthy of his family name. Now known only by his last name, Roglin, could only regain his full name if he proves himself worthy in a test of arms and is granted a noble title.

Soon after emerging from the Highlands, he was soon met by a scouting party lead by Lord Alfred of Elidor. Befriended by Alfred as a boy, Roglin offered his sword in service to Elidor. Fighting alongside the Scouts of Elidor, he has proven himself time and time again.

Though he is well versed in the ways of Weapons, Wine and Wit he is a master of none and would gladly woo an unknowing maiden then needlessly strike down an enemy. But he is always watching over those who call him friend and by their side in times of need. Bound by his own Code of Honor and Service, what he lacks in tact, he surpasses in Duty. Wherever there is an unlikely song or battle of wit, one can be certain, Talon Roglin is nearby.
