Korgoth's origins are shrouded in mystery. He appears to be of Elf-kin but no remaining Elf claims knowledge of him.
Before a battle some years back, Korgoth was found lying in the middle of a field, By King Alfred, with nothing but the clothes on his back. Korgoth lacked the memory to explain from whence he came, but it was clear that he was of good heart.
Alfred offered him a home in the Kingdom of Elidor and this spoke to some clouded memory in Korgoth's heart. He gladly joined Elidor and stayed with them until the battle where Rome was driven from the continent by the combined forces of the good peoples of Darkon.
Korgoth has not been seen in the lands of Darkon since that fateful day, but occasional messages come to the King, telling of his intentions to return.
